"Where Passion Meets Life"
The Fort Lauderdale Alumnae Chapter (FTLAC) was originally installed as the Broward Alumnae Chapter on May 18, 1963, at Park Temple Methodist Church. The charter members of our alumnae chapter are: Doris Nickel, Ellen Raton, Mary Severance, Joanne Apel, Lettie Ozaki, Geraldine Rasmussen, Marguerite Haldeman, Betty Dasher, Mary Alice Elkins, Jane Baker, Jackie Knowles, Sandra Davis, Alice Ferebee, and Beverly Bunn.
The chapter officially became its present name in 1968. Since then, the FTLAC has been awarded the Lambda A Alumnae Chapter Province Achievement Award in 2017 and 2020 and was selected as a regional finalist for the National Alumnae Chapter Achievement Award in 2017. The chapter continuously strives to support its local community by providing its own music education grant to Broward and Palm Beach County music school programs and music based organizations. President
Rossly Rocha
An initiate of the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University in 2015. She is the recipient of the Sword of Honor and affiliated with the Fort Lauderdale alumnae chapter in 2018. Since affiliating, she has served as Vice President of Membership, Programs and Ritual. Rossly has served as President of the chapter since 2022.

Gabrielle Aleksinko
An charter member of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2011, Gabi has received the Sword of Honor, Scholastic Award, and Collegiate Honor Award. She has previously served as an advisor to the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University and the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University. She also previously served as FTLAC's President from 2016-2018;Â and Sunshine Committee chair from 2018-2021.
Sue Bermann
An initiate of the Sigma Chi Chapter at the University of Miami in 1975. Sue has previously served as National Vice President of Alumnae Chapters, and served as Vice President of Ritual for the Fort Lauderdale Alumnae chapter from 2020-2021. Sue has received multiple awards, including the Sword of Honor, Ruby Sword of Honor, Wreath of Achievement, Rose of Dedication, and Rose of Constancy.
Anita Britton
An initiate of the Delta Nu Chapter at Howard University in 1996. Anita has served as Sunshine Committee chairman since 2022.
Aniza Cantillo
An initiate of the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University in 2015. Aniza currently serves as our Fundraising Committee chairman.
Linda Cartagena
An initiate of the Zeta Tau Chapter at University of Central Florida in 2018, and later affiliated with the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2018.
Karista Collum
An initiate of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2014.
Rebbekah Faustin
An initiate of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2014, Rebbekah has received the Sword of Honor, Scholastic Award, Collegiate Honor Award, and the Phyllis Dobbin Holt Scholarship. Rebbekah has previous served as Editor for the FTLAC as well as the Chairman for the Archive/Scrapbook, and Yearbook Committee.
Lise Gilly
An initiate of the Sigma Chi chapter at the University of Miami.
Amanda Godoy
An initiate of the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University in 2012, Amanda has received the Sword of Honor.
Kelly Love
An initiate of the Eta Pi Chapter at Stetson University in 2020, Kelly served as the chapter's Historian before graduating. She currently serves as the chapter's Recording Secretary.
Argarita Palavicini-Johnson
An initiate of the Theta Xi Chapter at Bethune Cookman University.
Debbi Miller
An initiate of the Beta Xi Chapter at the University of Texas at Austin in 1972. Debbi served as President of her chapter. In Fort Lauderdale, Debbi has served as Recording & Corresponding Secretary, serves as Vice President of Programming and Programming Chairman.
Gina Rand
An initiate of the Delta Chi at University of South Florida in 2020, Gina currently serves as the Vice President of Membership and Membership Committee chairman.
Rossly Rocha
An initiate of the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University in 2015, Rossly is the recipient of the Sword of Honor. She has previously served as the FTLAC Vice President, Ritual from 2019-2020, and the Vice President, Membership and Program from 2020-2021. She currently serves as the FTLAC's President for the 2022-2024 term.
Samantha Sandelier
An initiate of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2013. Sam has previously served as Treasurer, Vice President of Programming, and Programming Committee chairman.
Rebecca Schultz
An initiate of the Lambda Omicron Chapter at Florida International University in 2011. Rebecca is a previous recipient of the Sword of Honor, and as served as the Lambda A Province Officer for 2013-2016.
Jessie Vance
An initiate of the Gamma Delta Chapter at State University of New York in 1967, Jessie has been awarded the Sword of Honor and Rose of Honor. She previously served as our chapter's Vice President, Ritual. Jessie currently serves as the Outreach and Service Committee Chairman.
Gabrielle Wladimirsky
An initiate of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University in 2014. Gabby is a recipient of the Sword of Honor and Ruby Sword of Honor. She has served two terms as President from 2018-2022, and has served as Treasurer, Fundraising Chairman, and Yearbook Chairman.
Megan Wright
An initiate of the Beta Alpha Chapter at Florida State University in 2020, Megan served as Chapter President.
Annie Yacoub
An initiate of the Lambda Pi Chapter at Florida Atlantic University, Annie has previously served as President. She currently serves as Treasurer.

Sheila Firestone - Patroness with Training
Sheila was initiated by the Sigma Chi chapter in 1996. She has served on the Outreach & Service Committee for FTLAC.
LaCondra Hayes-Phanord - Patroness with Training
Mrs. Hayes-Phanord was initiated by the Fort Lauderdale Alumnae Chapter in 2022, and has served on the Membership & Programming Committees. She is also a sister of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Dianne has previously served as Treasurer for the FTLAC.
